In the coming decades, cities will face major global challenges, such as finding contemporary and effective responses to inevitable climate change and a severe shortage of natural resources. By becoming more and more the place and engine of innovation, growth and economic transformation in equal measure, future city will take on the societal change (diversity and social inclusion) and sustainable governance (city and metropolitan region smart urban development).
Smart and innovative solutions, responsible and sustainable use of resources will determine the future design of cities as living spaces.
