Today, data isn’t the barrier to innovation, usable data is. Azure search is one of the hidden gems in Azure that enrich all types of information to easily identify and explore relevant content at scale. Having full-text, geospatial search, auto-complete, filtering and faceting capabilities with built-in AI capabilities (including OCR, key phrase extraction) up and running in few minutes will enable you to reduce the complexity of setting and maintain complex environments and give you tools to add rich search experience to your application. We will explore free-form text, relevance (scoring), geo-search, filters / facets, search suggestions, hit highlighting, sorting, AI enrichments (ocr, key phrase extraction). We will see, how we can integrate azure search in different environments, from different applications to programming languages to command line interface (powershell cmdlet integrations) to be used with the tools you use and love, no matter if you are developer of infrastructure guy.
